Premium beef processor Creekstone Farms announced that on Oct. 18 it held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Walnut Valley Learning Center, its onsite 20,000-square-foot childcare facility, located next to its Arkansas City headquarters.
The center expects to accommodate more than 100 children of Creekstone Farms employees. In April, the meat producer stated the project would cost an estimated $3.5 million and sit on 3.5 acres. Hutton Construction from Wichita, Kan., partnered with Creekstone on the project.
